IN THE OWNER OWN WORDS The reason we chose the area and the property was due to the location, our home is on a quiet estate just off Doncaster Road and for us we can get to all or our regular locations in under 20 minutes or so. We can access the M62 via Normanton, the M1 via Wakefield or the soon to be opened Doncaster Road bypass and the A1 either via the M62 or via Pontefract. We are also close to Crofton village which has good schools including Crofton Academy, a doctors surgery, a pharmacy, local shops, a pub, a sport / community centre and there are two garden centres reasonably close by.


We enjoy going on walks which makes this a perfect location for us with a footpath just over the road taking you to Walton Nature Reserve, it is a nice walk to heath common with a couple of lovely pubs on the way, Nostell Priory and Parkland which is a national trust location is just up the road and we can access the Pennine Way with its walks, bridleways and cycle paths through the local countryside. We are only a short journey by car to the local canal, river and waterways. We love sitting in the back garden which is very private with a drink enjoying relaxing and watching the world going by or entertaining family and friends in the house and the garden.
